Key Points
- Contributions for AT-HM items are the same as the Independence category.
- Contributions are paid from the client's personal funds — not S@H hours. Larger tier = higher client contribution.
- OT assessment, prescription & training are fully funded.
- AT-HM contributions are separate from other category contributions.

If an item exceeds the tier cap (e.g. Low tier cap $500, item costs $620): funding pays up to the cap, and the client pays their contribution percentage plus any amount over the cap. If they are unable to pay, consider a lower-cost option or care partner to request a higher tier via a support plan review.
