Do you need help selecting the right personal alarm for yourself, a loved one, or a client?
Whether you are a consumer, carer, or an Occupational Therapist, you may be stuck deciding which personal alarm is the most suitable. With so many products on the market, the decision can be overwhelming — and selecting the wrong alarm can be a costly mistake.

We bring a variety of personal alarms so you can see, feel, and try them on the spot
We have no affiliation with any brand — our recommendation is completely unbiased and focused on what is best for the consumer
We explain available funding pathways and can assist with applying for funding
We explore alternative solutions where a personal alarm may not be the most appropriate option
We can provide a brief clinical report to support funding applications (additional fees may apply)

Choosing the Right Personal Alarm for Your Needs
With so many personal alarms on the market, choosing the right one can be overwhelming — and getting it wrong can mean spending hundreds of dollars on a device that doesn't suit you.
Personal alarms range from simple pendant-style buttons worn around the neck, to GPS-enabled devices, smartwatch-style alarms, and fall-detection units. Each has different features, costs, and suitability depending on the person and their environment.
A clinical assessment by an Occupational Therapist considers the interaction between the person, their environment, and their daily routine — ensuring the right device is matched to the right situation. An OT can also explain funding options that may reduce or cover the cost of the device.
Our Personal Alarm Consultation Service brings a range of devices directly to your home so you can see, feel, and try them before making a decision — with completely unbiased, clinically-informed advice.
